Covid-19 Update for FRC

On Monday, April 27, Governor Kim Reynolds gave the go ahead for religious institutions to reopen their doors.   Last night we had an administration meeting to discuss the next steps.   Your health is of utmost importance to us and we want to make sure we are taking all precautionary measures to ensure that.   We felt that we would rather be on the side of caution than in a rush to get us all back together.   Many of you know our community is still in the early stages of seeing Covid 19 here.

With that being said, we are currently setting up a “Return To Worship” team that will assess the safest and most responsible way in which we will gather once again for worship. They will look at cleaning procedures, seating arrangements, and other health-related issues and try and answer other questions many of you might have. This task force will have some church staff and health care professionals including Doctor Kosters.

In the coming weeks, we will get detailed information out to you about what our new way of worship will look like.  We will not meet before May 19th and it could even be beyond that. We ask for your patience and I think many of you would agree that we would rather be safe than sorry.  Once we welcome you back, we will continue to have Facebook live available until you personally feel comfortable to return.  In the meantime, we will continue to have our services on Facebook live at 10:00 am on Sundays.  By 1:00 pm you can also watch it on our website.

We are thankful for all who are watching us!   We are also thankful for the continued financial support.  You have been truly amazing as a church, in this time of change and transition.  I am grateful for all the amazing people that make up this body of Christ.  I am looking forward to the day we will return to worship as a corporate body of believers and lift our voices in praise!  I am even more excited about our new outlook on our personal relationship with Christ and how we can use our gifts and talents to change our community and the world!!

Miss and love you all!
